This green coloured chutney or condiment recipe which is mainly used as a spread for sandwich recipes. This Chutney is made using mint leaves and coriander leaves. It is multipurpose chutney and can be used as a dip for various snacks. We can store it in refridgerator for 2-3 weeks.
Preparation Time : 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- Mint leaves – 1/4 cup
- Coriander leaves – 1/4 cup
- Fried gram – 2 tsp
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Lemon – 1/2
- Green chilli – 3
- Sugar – 1/3 tsp
- Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Chat powder – 1/4 tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Water – as required
Method:
- wash the leaves and chop it
- Add all the ingredients except lemon in a mixie jar and blend it well with enough water
- Squeeze the lemon juice to the chutney and mix well
- Store it in a container

Notes:
- Add Green chillies based on the spiciness
- Add groundnut instead of fried gram
- Adding coconut is optional but you cannot store it for long time
- you can add 2-3 pods of garlic too
